3月2日。本週遇上的節日是：國際婦女節 (International Women’s Day)。為什麼婦女節訂在3月8日？原來不是慶祝，而是一個抗爭的紀念，今天在節目中帶大家瞭解，也從欣賞各個年代關於女性的歌曲丶以及以男性觀看女性視角的歌曲，一同來經歷女性覺醒的歷史演變。
寫節目的時候，我發現女性覺醒的速度，在最初其實相當緩慢。因為早在100多年前，包括紐約、芝加哥和麻州的女性勞工運動，以及1917年俄羅斯聖彼得堡紡織女工組織的罷工抗議，這些呼喊照理應該串連了女性的覺醒，但在主流的流行歌曲當中，卻一直要到60年代，才出現像Dusty Springfield 的You Don't Own Me（你並不擁有我）和Aretha Franklin 的Respect （尊重）這樣的曲子，唱出「被尊重」的要求，這呼喊不是怒吼著想要打敗誰，完全只是劃出該有的界線而已，女性不願再做男人故事中的女主角，現在開始書寫自己當主角的歌。然後70年代從Helen Reddy用第一人稱說明女性的 I Am Woman （我是女人），到Chaka Khan的I'm Every Woman (我代表每個女人），自此女力覺醒飛快展開，至少在西洋主流流行音樂上，是這樣呈現出來的。歡迎收聽Bravo FM91.3【愛的故事】—國際婦女節。
